NO 2. Description: Spherical roller bearing

Spherical Roller bearings are designed to carry heavy loads, even under misalignment or shaft deflection. Spherical Roller bearings can also handle axial loading in either direction and heavy shock loads. Available with a cylindrical or a tapered bore for mounting with or without a sleeve adapter. Available with many internal clearance (C2 to C4) and retainer options. Available bore dimension range is 20mm to 900mm.
Spherical roller bearings are self-aligning bearings that are consequently insensitive to misalignment of the shaft, they have 2 rows of rollers so they are CZPT to carry heavy radial loads, all sizes are available with cylindrical or tapered bores.
Spherical roller bearings are produced in several designs, depending on bearing series and size. The differences are
– the arrangement of the floating CZPT ring as well as
– the design of the inner ring and/or cages,
as described in the following.

C(J), CC–Two window-type steel cages, flangeless inner ring and CZPT ring centred on the inner ring

EC(J), ECC(J)–Two window-type steel cages, flangeless inner ring, CZPT ring centred on the inner ring and reinforced roller complement.

CA–One-piece machined brass cage, double-pronged, retaining flanges on the inner ring and CZPT ring centred on the inner ring

CAF– As CA, but with a steel cage.

ECA, ECAC– Reinforced roller complement, one-piece machined brass cage, double-pronged, retaining flanges on the inner ring, CZPT ring centred on the inner ring.

ECAF– As ECA, but with a steel cage.
